Non-Commissioned Officers from the 4 Infantry Division and affiliated units have kicked off a six-month refresher training for Communication Information Technology and Signal Regiment Level XIII Course (Intake 24/24-25) at the Division headquarters in Gulu.
Colonel Somson Nabeeta, the 4 Infantry Division Administration Officer, presided over the ceremony on behalf of Major General Felix Busizoori, the 4 Infantry Division Commander.
In his address, Col Nabeeta emphasized the importance of discipline, urging the trainees to maintain the highest standards of conduct throughout their training.
He encouraged them to uphold a positive image of their respective units.
Captain Gertrude Alum, from the 4 Infantry Division Communication Information Technology and Signal, expressed appreciation for the leadership’s commitment to facilitating the training.
She highlighted the course’s goal of equipping the troops with crucial security operation skills, which will enhance their communication capabilities and service delivery.
Captain Alum cautioned the participants against any misconduct, stressing that any violations would result in penalties.
The event was attended by representatives from the 4 Infantry Division and its affiliated units.
