PRESS STATEMENT
H.E the President and Commander in Chief of the Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces has transferred, posted and promoted the following general officers and other senior officers of the UPDF:
- Maj Gen Samuel Kawaga transferred to Nairobi as Defence Advisor
- Brig Gen Joseph Semwanga appointed Commander of UPDF 1st Division
- Brig Gen David Mugisha of 3rd Division appointed Commander SFC
- Brig Gen Felix Busizoori appointed 3rd Division Second in Command
- Lt Col Allan Matsiko promoted to Colonel
- Maj Dancun Kafeero promoted to Lt Col
- Col Herbert Nabimanya tranfered from SFC to Land Forces
The Ministry of Defence and Veteran Affairs and UPDF fraternity congratulate the transferred, posted and promoted senior officers.
