H.E the President and Commander in Chief of the Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces has promoted and appointed General Officers as follows:
- Major General Francis Takirwa appointed Acting Deputy Commander Land Force.
- Major General JA Bakasumba appointed Acting Chief of Staff Land Force.
- Brigadier General Bob P Ogiki promoted to Major General and appointed 2 Division Commander.
